The comp at Upton did not go well.
We all struggled to find lift, none of the slots were flown out
Barry broke his model on the winch, me and John broke our winches and Steve hit an overhead cable.

Gloucester MFC News

Sunday April 29th. Spring BBQ all your usual favourites cooked fresh on the clubs state of the art half oil drum.
Also Control Line Carrier Flying and competition.
Normal flying as usual as the carrier will be well out of the normal flying area

13th May foamy pylon race, on the local slope

An evening of full sized glider flying will be arranged with reduced rates, this will take place in May or June

Next Club Meeting
The next Club meeting is on Wed 16th May 7.00PM,  a club flying session and fun comp, on the slope if  windy or Minchinhampton Common if the wind is light. This will be published here at 6.00PM on   Monday 14th

Wayne a paraglider spotted Tony's Ferret up a tree where it had been there several months, another Ian paraglider climbed the tree and knocked it to another tree, climbed that and got the model down:
