Welcome to South Cotswold Soaring Association
  We are extremely lucky in that we have 6 main flying sites, all of which are beauty spots and most are SSSI 5 plus North Nibley are on the Cotswold Way, all within a 20 minutes drive of each other. Also, all of the sites have easy access, with car parks within a couple of hundred yards of the actual flying area.
We have no slope for NE winds and sometimes go to Leckhampton near Cheltenham
The sites are mostly on National Trust land who welcome non powered models

The first of the series of Pheonix 1600 last man down thermal comps was held Sunday 20th May; conditions were ideal, we managed to run six rounds. 5 entries,  1st with 56 points John Bennett, 2nd with 54 points Phil Hayward, Joint 3rd with 45 points Pete Wolf & Brian Boucher
The next in the series will be 7pm on the 20th June
