Secure throttle safety switch
With this mix the throttle can only be armed if the the throttle is at idle
and the the throttle arming switch is off
You hold the trainer switch on for 1.5 seconds
L1 is only on if the the throttle stick is below 5% and the throttle arming switch is off
L2 is switched on by holding the trainer switch SH on for 1.5 seconds when L1 is on
This switches on L3, L3 will stay on until it is
reset by SG ( sticky means latching)
It is reset to motor off by operating SG to up
The override is active when L3 is off, the negative function is used
The throttle will work when L3 and SF the throttle switch is on
This means you need a very deliberate action to arm the throttle.
to disarm this switch operate SG
In flight if you disarmed the motor you will need to set the throttle to
zero, turn off the throttle switch, hold SH on for 1.5 seconds, turn on the
throttle switch and open the throttle to get motor power.
This should stop accidental motor use in a comp, but could delay motor startup
in an emergency. You could just use this at startup
This is very suitable for a power model
A sticky switch operating a timer
This is an example of how a sticky switch works
Switch L2 is turned on when the throttle goes past 25% with SF forward which is also used as the throttle arming switch
L1 is turned on by L2 and stays on until SF is
switched on, this stops the timer, there is a 2 second delay on the timer
as flight times start when you let go
Timer 1 is started by switch L1 and stops when L1 has been switched off by SF
Timer 1 is reset by a function using switch SG
Oscillating Servo, for testing range and servos
A mix is used on a spare channel switched on by L1
L1 is a timer: 2 seconds on 2 secs off
Channel 10 is set to -50% sub trim
Mix channel 10 to the channel you want to use it on; disable before flying.
