Irvine X-it

Several Club members fly X-its, and the general consensus seems to be that the initial setup suggested in Irvine's assembly instructions is not ideal.
I've listed below the initial setup suggested in Irvine's assembly instructions (which I had followed), and the setup of my X-it after Phil had sprinkled some magic dust on it at Haresfield on Early May Bank Holiday 2005.
