I said in my helicopter bits a couple of weeks ago it may take two weeks or a year to learn to fly, how about 3 day days? watch Kristy Carnage.
Kristy used Phoenix Sim,  see Kristy at
Keith taught me to fly a heli on his Phoenix, this is reckoned to be a very good heli sim, I tried G3 but this is too easy. The Piccolo on  FMS is a bit wobbly and may be useful for getting used to an indoor heli.
to Fly a heli you need to process position, speed and acceleration in all 4 planes - yaw, roll, pitch and hieght

Kristy has been banned from from 3DRC forum  for flying a flight sim in her underwear see,

Have brought out some new receivers one of these has long aerial leads and can be used on gliders with carbon fuselages

AR6250 DSM2 2.4GHz Full Range Carbon Fuselage Receiver

With a minimal weight of just 4 grams the AR6250 DSM2 6-channel receiver is specifically designed for carbon fibre fuselage installations. Carbon fibre can create an RF shielding effect that can significantly reduce radio range when using conventional receivers and antennas. The AR9300 features an antenna design that resolves the critical issues presented by installations within this type of environment.

next meeting 18th march

And now for something completely different, have a look at this fan wing flying machine
