Gents

I have just had it confirmed from a committee Member from the White Sheet Club that the scale event, that many of us are intending to attend is on

SUNDAY 11th MARCH and not the 10th of March as previously stated.

The confusion seems to have occurred by some links going to an old Homepage of White Sheet club. The one to use is :

http://www.whitesheet.org.uk/     or

At The Malvern Auction I bought a 'Simply the Best' HLG; about 10 years ago before SAL this was the top model .

I started looking at what motors were being used and found this on http://www.fvk.de/Englisch/Information.html

SCSA

Hello SCSA member.

We have a couple of thing arranged for March.

We are holding another foamy (ie soft leading edge and fuselage ) pylon race on Sunday 11th March, 9:30am for a 10 o'clock start, on the windward slope on the day. Ade Mesbah has agreed to run the comp. We need flyers and helpers please to make the flagging more manageable. We had a great turn out in January so please
turn up and support your club again.
On 11th March my mobile will be switched on from about 8:30am ie. when I get out
to the windward slope if anybody wants to know which slope we are going to be
on. 07790679940.

Following a successful inaugural meeting in February at our new meeting venue (the BGGC building at Nympsfield) we have decided to meet there again on March 21st at 8:00pm and hold the Annual Paper Aeroplane competition. Please come along and have some fun competing for the longest flight in a knock-out
competition. We will supply RTF kits to all attendees. ( Ready to Fold, A4 sheets of paper)
We are also going to draw the current club raffle which is an Electro-Junior complete with motor and speed controller. I saw Mike flying one last week and it really flies well and floats about too.

 Monday

Tuesday

A gloomy, misty afternoon at Frocester, though the murk did gradually retreat and you could see CLD all the time. I was there with Phil and Alan, the latter flying his recently repaired Bird of Time.

It's a graceful sailplane and of course very distinctive in appearance.

The lift was gentle and smooth but altitude had to be limited in case the model disappeared in the mist.

Wednesday

A good afternoon on Minchinhampton, the cloud cover disappeared to give a sunny afternoon with a light southerly wind
Peter's Mustang looked great and the retract system worked
I set up my Supra to go up a bungee and hope it go up a winch OK, it stalled on the line at first and I added some down elevator mix to the launch flap
