We have postponed the SCSA meeting and Paper Airplane Competition that was scheduled for 18th January. So no meeting this week, we will send a revised date later.
Boxing Day pylon race
This was won by JohnnyST

There were 17 entries, and some great racing between the EPP pylon racers.

Two casualties: Bryan's M60 met Pails Acacia coming the other way

Malvern SA News

I just wanted to say how appreciative I was of the kind words expressed at the January 2012 club night on my retirement as Chairman and for the very generous present of an Amazon ‘Kindle’, which will not only be very useful whilst on long haul flights, but in between times as well at home.  It is a fantastic modern device, literally a library of one’s choice in the pocket, weighing next to nothing and which I am quickly learning to use.
A sincere thank you to all who contributed, I will cherish it.
Also for electing me as a life member, it is a great honour to be appointed as such and much appreciated.
Nick Neve.
PS. Note that I am still editing the website and newsletters, also maintaining the members telephone / email list, a revised copy of which is attached replacing the one issued a few days ago.

with airbrakes, retract, aerotow release and all servos. The glider has only ever been hand launched to check the trim, so is in new condition.

Wing span 3.5m; Length 1.54m; Weight 3500g
Servos - Aileron 2, Elevator 1, Rudder 1, Air brake 1, Retract Wheel 1 and Aerotow release 1. No receiver. It was built for the Fleet radio system but I understand that a Futaba Tx will work. The fuselage is moulded HD plastic of some kind. The wings are veneered foam as is the tailplane. It is in good order but will need to be checked over. A snip at my asking price of £150
