Cosford From Mike I took a few photos at Cosford too (see, I do remember my camera sometimes!) Perhaps you could put them in the next newsletter if you haven't got much else? Things that too my eye at Cosford. 1) Brian (& Phil) eyeing up the big Lancaster. Looks like Brian's thinking" I wonder if I can sneak that into the garage without my wife noticing" (Phil-Brian-Lanc.jpg) 2) The sign on the large trainer plane for sale (plane4sale.jpg & ForSalel.jpg) 3) "I think you need a bigger prop on that" - the ME Komet in the museum (BiggerProp.jpg)) 4) "Funny place to park a Meteor" - Totally unintentional photo of the scratchbuilt Meteor taxiing back in after an impressive display. (Meteor.jpg & MeteorParking.jpg) 5) "Wot a big mouth you've got" Lockheed P1 (I think) Looked like a Lightning prototype to me? (P1.jpg) Plus I've included a few photos of the full size planes in the museum. There were quite a few on display, but I didn't photograph everything. The hangar with all the cold war planes was quite impressive as it had all the V bombers, plus other plans like a Hunter, Lightning, Canberra etc all hanging from the ceiling! The rest of the photos are posted at http://www.ebley.plus.com/limbo/?M=D

Wednesday at Frocester, the wind was little stronger than forecast getting up to about 15MPH and giving some strong lift. The Bristol gliding club's ASK21 just managed to slope soar we had to keep out of the way. The wind eased a little in the evening ideal conditions for my Pegase; the photo shows Mick launching it for Peter | |
