Wednesday at at Selsley, a very good day, plenty of lift with the wind just a
little too strong for the paragliders. Alan flew his K8 to a great height.
Everything flew well in the strong lift except Mick's zagi, which refused to
get past the turbulent bit

Saturday I went to Cosford Airshow A good show
with lots of trade stands. Jets are becoming very popular and an
increase in large electric powered models. The Show had a good mix of
models including a Vulcan, passenger jet, airtows, Ali's turbine powered
glider and vintage models. One problem was the entrance queue
cause by the ticket salesmen having a long chat with each driver. If you
go next year you may be able to take a short cut down Long lane. |

Steve's model of Grosvenor House. The full-size is in the Shuttleworth Collection. It has been restored to flying condition and flew on May 17th 1987. The restoration took 13 years and cost approximately £7m.

Saturday at Frocester Where was everybody on Saturday afternoon? Cosford? Frocester was at it’s very best. Gary from Redditch with a Multiplex Lucky, Mr ‘X’ from Bristol with a Banshee and me with my Phase 6 Pro., ProdiJ and MiraJ. The lift was really good, in the blazing sunshine. The ‘Gulp Man’ turned up at 5 p.m. as I was leaving after a perfect afternoon’s flying. Well you all know what today, Sunday is like...Ugh....Is it really July? Guy Sunday at Rodborough, a northeasterly wind with the clouds coming from southeast giving very poor lift, then rain at 11.00 o'clock |
