Boxing DayPylon race

The 2018 Boxing-day pylon race will be held as usual at 9:30 for 10 o'clock start. Pete Wolfenden will be running the comp.
The comp will be held on the windward slope, Pete will select the slope at about 8am on Boxing-day.
If you get to the slope and Pete is not there, then you will be in the wrong place.
If in doubt ring Pete on 07761199123 after 8:15am on the day.
We need helpers to run the competition so if you don't feel like entering but could benefit from having your cobwebs blown away after all the turkey and booze from Christmas day, please turn up and give a hand.*Proposed summer comps
One model fun comp. (Phoenix 1600) from Hobby King
A all up / last man down using a Phoenix 1600 model fitted with a 2 cell lipo.
Synchronized mass launch with then a 30 second motor run. Points awarded: last man down 1 point, second last man down 2 points, and so on there will be no spot landing just a landing within the flying field.
It is proposed to run a series of comps. Consisting of 3 rounds each. The overall winner will be the one with least points.
The comps to be run on the evening of the monthly meetings starting at 7.00 PM. If conditions are unsuitable we will have a fun comp  on the slope:
