 An aerobatic comp was held at Cam Long Down on Wednesday instead of of the one model thermal due to the wind strength

The first of the series of Pheonix 1600 last man down thermal comps was held  this morning 20th May; conditions were ideal, we managed to run six rounds. 5 entries, would have been 6 but Jsomeoneohn Fairburn crashed during a trimming flight. The results were as follows:
1st with 56 points John Bennett, 2nd with 54 points Phil Hayward, Joint 3rd with 45 points Pete Wolf & Brian Boucher
The next in the series will be 7pm on the 20th June.
